Welcome to
Project Hustle Mommies

Project Hustle Mommy is a community-based partnership between Hustle Mommies and Northwestern University. The goal of the focus groups is to identify causes of stress, what resources are needed to manage stress, and to create a safe space to express thoughts and feelings and receive the support of others.

If you choose to participate, you will be asked to attend one virtual focus group via Zoom where you will talk about your experiences with stress, how you deal with stress and the sources of support that are available to you. The focus group will last for 1.5 hours. Your participation will help us develop a survey that will more widely assess the mental health needs of mothers in urban environments. The long-term goal of the research is to inform the development and implementation of mental health resources for mothers in inner-city communities.
