Nike served as our 2023 partner for community advocacy as we launched our PAINT THE HOOD ORANGE platform. Their contribution was centered around investing in our work to cure hood trauma in effort to end gun violence while also investing in the capacity of the organization. The partnership allowed the team to invest in expansion, program development, contracting firms for development etc.
Starting Goal & Objectives:​

Hire a political consultancy firm to expand Hustle Mommies and our affiliate programs within the local and federal government for relationship-building

Create an awareness platform for families for health and wellness as well as gun violence advocacy training

Contract mompreneurs for infrastructure build and events

The Process
Hustle Mommies lead team develop strategy to build and grow Hustle Mommies and employ mompreneurs and mom owned businesses. This includes our programs and events.
The Result
Hustle Mommies and NIKE dropped a collaboration t-shirt for PAINT THE HOOD ORANGE that were distributed throughout Chicago, given to Kamala Harris and her team at the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. In addition to community engagement, these funds hired 10 black businesses/contractors for the Hustle Mommies brand as well as contributed to the $500,000 distributed to Black businesses within 10 communities throughout Chicago.
